Migration of the Standards Online Balloting System
TAPPI Standards Online Balloting System, Kavi, will soon be migrating to TAPPI Connect. The migration will not affect any ballot that is currently opened, nor any roster, ballot results or any member’s information. All the information from the current balloting system (Kavi) will be automatically transferred to the new Workspace where normal activity will continue once the migration is completed. The website that will be hosting the balloting system (Workspace) is TAPPI Connect, which means that SSIG members will get access to the balloting system with the TAPPI Connect login and password (this is the same login and password that is used for tappi.org). If you are a SSIG member and you don’t have a TAPPI Connect account yet, you may set up one through this link: https://connect.tappi.org/register. The migration is set to occur the beginning of next week. The new Workspace will look very similar to the current balloting system, so current SSIG members will not need any additional training. However, a free webinar will be provided, hosted by Reid Baldwin of Higher Logic, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm Eastern, and will cover log in information and any details that may be different between the two platforms. If you are a SSIG member, you should have received an e-mail with the meeting attendance information. If you have not received a meeting invite, please contact the Standards Department at standards@tappi.org. The webinar will be recorded, in case anyone is unable to attend. Once the recording is available, it will be posted to TAPPI Connect. Thank you very much for dedicating your time and knowledge to review TAPPI Standards! |
