Asunta Continues as Chairman of Metsäliitto Cooperative

The board of directors of Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative, Finland, elected in its constituent meeting Martti Asunta, M.Sc. (forestry), to continue as chairman of the board of directors. Asunta has been a member of the board since 2005 and chairman since 2008. Metsä Group’s President and CEO Kari Jordan continues as deputy chairman of the board.

Arto Hiltunen continues as chairman of the Audit Committee and Asunta and Eino Halonen as its members.

Asunta continues as chairman of the Compensation Committee and Halonen and Antti Tukeva continue as its members.
