Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee – Spring Meeting Planned

The spring meeting of the YDS&RC will be held April 30–May 1 at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tenn., USA, immediately following the TAPPI Tissue360° Forum. The agenda will include subcommittee meetings on: 

• Yankee Dryer Bearings (Chair: Scott Thompson, Airtherm)   
• Steam and Condensate Systems (Chair: Yee Tak Ngan, Swagelok)  
• Yankee Hoods/Cylinders and Air Systems (Chair: Neil Arafat, Enerquin) 
• Yankee Surface Reliability (Chair: Sam Archer, Nalco).

The program will also include discussions about safe operating practices and technical challenges to operating yankee dryers. More information is available online.
