A.Celli, Italy, reports that it has successfully started up a new tissue machine at a producer’s mill in El Salvador. Installation of the new machine at the tissue producer group, which A.Celli notes has "for the time being" chosen to remain confidential, shipped from Italy to Central America beginning last September. The recent startup in April was successfully completed with no delays, A.Celli reports.
The new tissue machine has a 2,800-mm web width, a working speed of 1,500 m/min, and a production capacity of 65 metric tpd. It was designed to answer all of the customer’s requests and demands to guarantee an enhancement in production level, assured by optimal performance and paper quality, with consequent improvement in the finished product, according to A.Celli.
With this new tissue machine, A.Celli Paper provided the producer "a leap forward in quality," aiming for important and ambitious production milestones in its quest "to conquer an extremely particular territory such as Central America."
