2015 Tissue360 Forum Attracts Record Attendance

The 2015 Tissue360o Forum this past April 20-22 at PaperCon in Atlanta, Ga., USA, had a 52% increase in overall attendance, The Forum’s 11 sessions had a combined attendance of 565, compared with last year’s total sessions count of 370 attendees.
One of the best attended sessions that attracted particular attendee interest and question and answer discussion was Session T2- Process Innovations I. This session, chaired by Steve Pearson of Wausau Paper, looked at some of the industry’s more recent and most significant technology developments. Maja Mejsner of PMP Group opened the session by exploring A Cost Effective Concept for Premium Tissue Production – YFY Yangzhou, China Case Study.
Mejsner’s presentation was followed by Johan Regard of Valmet, who conducted a close-up examination of Flexible Technology for Next Generation Tissue Makers. Roberto Pardo of Voith then completed Session T2 with his report on A New Generation of Shoe Presses for Tissue.
Future reports in this newsletter will examine key papers presented at several other sessions during this year’s Forum.
