Fábricas de Papel Potosí to Install New A.Celli Tissue Machine in Mexico

A new A.Celli (Italy) 2,800-mm tissue machine equipped with a 12-ft steel yankee dryer has been shipped to San Luis Potosí (Mexico), where it will be housed in a new building completely reserved for it at Fábricas de Papel Potosí. With this new operation, Fábricas de Papel Potosí plans to make a quality leap, "attaining major and ambitious production milestones."
The new tissue machine has a working speed of 1,500 m/min and a production capacity of 80 metric tpd, and, according to A.Celli, is designed to "answer the customer’s demands to guarantee an increase in production levels, assured by optimal performance and paper quality, with consequent improvement of the finished product."
Additionally, this equipment comes with latest-generation hoods specially designed by A.Celli’s technical staff to enhance technical performance as well as the aesthetic features of this important component of tissue machines. These new innovative hoods, characterized by a modern design and by their aerodynamic shape, are designed to improve the performance of the entire production cycle.
Fábricas de Papel Potosí, has more than 30 years of experience in the manufacture and converting of tissue and paper, mainly toilet rolls, white table napkins, printed table napkins (used for advertising and promotion), stationery, and spunlace. The company notes that it is dedicated to the production of FMCG for the medium segment of the Mexican market. It also produces printed table napkins specifically designed for promotional purposes and advert launches of the clientele in the HORECA industry, for airlines and sports clubs, among other fields.
