Furtura Introduces Andromeda Converting Solution

Futura, Italy, launched its new tissue converting solution named Andromeda at IT’s Tissue 2015 in Lucca, Italy, June 21-27. Andromeda represents the next major step forward for this industry, Futura says, noting that it will radically improve operational equipment efficiency and safety while reducing operating costs.

 

The space-saving layout and limited requirement for operator intervention sets new standards for the industry, according to Futura. These features also have major positive implications for finished product quality, the company adds.

VP of International Operations Piero Ceccon said that "Andromeda is clearly a better way to make roll products. Its innovations draw on the experiences and lessons of the past 13 years since Futura was born, and of the multi-disciplinary team at Futura whose knowledge and wisdom goes far further back than that."
