Kimberly-Clark’s (Dallas, Texas, USA) Kleenex® Perfect Fit Facial Tissues has won the 2016 Product of the Year for the paper products category, as voted on by 40,000 consumers in a national representative survey conducted by global consumer researcher TNS. Kleenex brand accepted the award, which celebrates innovation and product quality, at the recent Product of the Year recognition ceremony in New York, N.Y., USA.
"Nearly 50,000 new packaged goods products are introduced each year," said Rich Fryling, managing director, Product of the Year USA. "Our research shows that 44% of consumers are more likely to purchase a product recommended by 40,000 shoppers who are just like them."
