A.Celli to Rebuild Essel Kagit Tissue Machine at Turkey Mill

A.Celli Paper, Lucca, Italy, a specialized supplier of turnkey tissue plants, has finalized a key tissue machine rebuild order with Essel Selüloz ve Kâğıt Sanayi Tic. A.ş., Turkey.  Essel Kagit operates two A.Celli supplied tissue facilities. The first one at Caycuma, inaugurated in 2005, is where A.Celli will conduct the tissue machine rebuild. 

 

The Essel Kagit Caycuma production site produces almost 30,000 metric tpy of tissue. Many dozens of tons of optimal quality paper are converted daily into more than 600 different types of tissue products designated for the Turkish as well as other markets.

 

Rebuilding of the Caycuma tissue machine, aimed at improving formation and energy consumption, entails the supply of a 12-foot steel yankee dryer and a new headbox. All of this offers Essel the chance to plan its growth anew and to set new business goals for itself in terms of production quality and efficiency, A.Celli notes.

 

As noted above, the Essel Cellulose and Paper Industry Trade Co. was founded in 2005 in Zonguldak Çaycuma, the current location of the A.Celli Paper plant producing 70 metric tpy of tissue. The second plant was supplied in 2015 in Osmaniye. Essel produces many types of tissue products, roll and folded, exclusively in pure cellulose in different grammages. Quality of the raw material to produce optimal quality products at competitive prices, capable of meeting market demands, has been a founding principle at Essel.
