Study: Disposable Baby Diapers Gain Market Share

In 2016 and beyond, the disposable diapers segment of the nonwovens industry is slated to account for approximately 50% share of the global market value, according to a report from Persistence Market Research.

According to the report, titled Global Market Study on Baby Diaper: Rise in Production of Novel Hygiene Products is Expected to Fuel Demand for Baby Diapers, the global market for baby diapers is slated to record sales of 379,907 units in volumes by the end of 2024.

During the forecast period of 2014 to 2024, the global baby diapers market is projected to attain a market value of more than $70 billion.
