Hengan Brings New Tissue Machine Online in China

Hengan International, Beijing, China, has started up a new 60,000 metric tpy tissue machine at its mill in Wuhu city, Anhui province, China. The new Valmet machine (PM 20) has a trim width of 5.6 meters and operates at 1,900 meters/min. 

An identical machine was started up at this mill this past August, which together with PM 20 brings the mill’s production capacity now with four tissue machines to 240,000 metric tpy. 

Hengen currently operates five mills in China with a combined capacity of more than 1 million metric tpy.
