Recard to Deliver New Tissue PM to Alex Converta in Egypt

The new PM is a Crescent former PM with 2.85 m trim, 1,500 m/min speed and daily capacity of 78 tonnes (25,000 tonnes/yr). It will be equipped with a steel-fabricated Yankee from an unknown supplier. Recard also delivered the current narrow (1.85 m trim, 10,000-tonne/yr) PM which has been running since 1990 and was also delivered by Recard. The start up of the new PM is expected around mid-2017. It is not known whether the new PM will replace the old one or whether the company will continue to run also it.
