Recard Seals a Contract with Star Paper Mill in Abu Dhabi for a Turnkey Plant

Recard will return to the United Arab Emirates thanks to the contract signed with Star Paper Mill in Abu Dhabi for the supply of a turnkey plant for the production of high quality tissue. This is the sixth machine that Recard will install in the Arabian Peninsula following one for Emirates Paper Mills Ltd and four supplied to Saudi Paper.

The plant, equipped with two stock preparation lines (long and short virgin fiber) and two rewinders with a variable-crown calender to enhance paper softness, will produce about 38,000 tons/yr. The crescent former will be provided with a latest-generation shoe press. Startup is scheduled for spring 2018.
