Baoding Zhongxin Orders New Tissue Machines

Baoding Zhongxin Paper has ordered a new 15,000-tonne/yr tissue machine for its sole mill in Baoding city, in China’s northern province of Hebei.

Weifang Hicredit Machinery has been signed up to provide the unit. Its start is scheduled for March or April next year, according to the Chinese supplier. The machine has a width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 900 m/min. It will be fed with virgin wood pulp.

Two identical units are already in place. One was commissioned last December, boosting the total tissue capacity at the mill to 27,000 tonnes/yr. The installation of the other is nearly finished.
