Papcel and ABK Groupe to Supply a 60-Tonne/day Tissue Machine to Aspex Kumbong

In April 2017, ABK Groupe and Papcel signed a new contract with PT Aspex Kumbong, West Java, Indonesia to supply a complete tissue machine including approach flow system, Crescent former, winder and auxiliary equipment.

The tissue machine is designed for a capacity of 60 tons/day of tissue paper grades (facial and toilet tissue paper), 13 to 35 g/m2 basis weight ranges and a maximum operating speed of 1,200 m/min. The sheet width on reel trim will be 2,850 m/min. ABK Groupe will also supply detailed engineering for all the supplied equipment. The commissioning of the new tissue line is scheduled for the end of 2018.
