At the
Tissue 2017 Conference, to be held October 3-6, 2017 in Miami, a variety of sessions will cover a range of industry topics. One of these will be a "Flushability Panel", led by David Loebker of Proctor & Gamble. Panelists will include technical leaders from Georgia-Pacific, SGS and Solenis who will discuss the myriad of test methods and where municipalities and the science is headed.
Another important session covers "Public and Marketplace Policy Issues for Tissue," which will be led by Donna Harmon, president and CEO of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). Ms. Harman is recognized by industry leaders and national public policymakers as a leading expert on public policy for the pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and wood products manufacturing sector, which comprises nearly four percent of the nation’s manufacturing output.
Also, Graeme Rodden of TAPPI/RISI will be leading a panel discussion about "Supply Chain for Tissue", addressing fiber and raw material concerns.
