Lebanon’s Amaco to Supply Converting Machinery to Papeles Tissue Rosario in Argentina

Argentina’s Papeles Tissue Rosario has tapped the Lebanon-based Amaco group for new tissue converting equipment.
According to Amaco, it will deliver a complete line for producing toilet paper and kitchen towels to Papeles Tissue Rosario. Amaco’s managing director Ali M. Abdallah added that the machinery comprises an automatic rewinder with a width of 2,000 mm, a double embossing unit with lamination deco system that is connected via auomatic log transfer to the automatic band saw.
"Both machines can rewind and cut household and industrial rolls on the same line, and the production capacity is around 5 tonnes per 8-hour shift," Abdallah told PPI Europe. He added that Amaco’s delivery also includes a polyethylene plastic bag packaging machine and automatic core making machines.
"This equipment will be shipped next week from Lebanon to Argentina and the estimated start of production in Argentina is mid-December 2017," Abdallah explained. The value of the order was not revealed.
Based in Saïda in the South Governorate of Lebanon, on the Mediterranean coast, Amaco specializes in tissue converting machinery.
