Mancheng Jinguang Starts New TM in Baoding, China

Mancheng Jinguang Paper started trial production on a 22,500-metric tpy tissue PM in late 2017 at its mill in Baoding city, in China’s northern province of Hebei. The first sheet of paper rolled off the line December 6.

Supplied by domestic firm Baotuo Paper Machinery Engineering, the unit has a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min.

It is the fourth tissue PM to have come on stream at the site in 2017, following an identical unit and two 12,000-metric tpy machines from the same supplier.

Together their startups have exponentially boosted the company’s total tissue capacity to nearly 90,000 metric tpy.
