Svenska Pappersbruket Orders Tissue Machine from Recard

Svenska Pappersbruket in Klippan, Sweden will invest in a new tissue machine with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes/yr. Startup is planned for Q2 2019. The supplier will be Recard of Italy.

The mill is a big producer of colored tissue base paper reels and supplies to customers worldwide. The investment will further strengthen the mill’s position as the production will quadruple. Tissue from Klippan Mill is used mainly for napkin production.

The investment of 150 million SEK will mean new recruitments of about 20-25 people.
