China’s Yunnan Yunjing to Expand Tissue Capacity

Yunnan Yunjing Forestry & Paper has ordered two 12,000-mtpy tissue PMs for its existing mill in Puer city, Yunnan province, China.

The pair, provided by domestic supplier Baotuo Paper Machinery Engineering, should come on stream in May 2019. Each unit will have a trim width of 2.86 m and a design speed of 1,000 m/min. In-house wood fiber will be used to feed the PMs.

A major pulp producer in southwestern China, Yunnan Yunjing operates two bleached hardwood kraft pulp lines with a combined capacity of around 260,000 mtpy at the Puer facility.
