Kruger Named One of Corporate Knights' 2018 Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada

Kruger Products, Canadian manufacturer of Cashmere and Purex bathroom tissue, SpongeTowel Paper Towels and Scotties facial tissue, has been named one of Corporate Knights' 2018 Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada. The annual ranking of corporate sustainability performance recognizes Kruger Products' long investment in environmental stewardship.
"Kruger Products announced its first sustainable development program almost a decade ago, and we have made massive strides since. It's an honor to be recognized for our leadership and ongoing commitment to sustainability in every form," said Dino Bianco, CEO, Kruger Products.
Corporate Knights evaluated 17 key performance indicators to make their decision. The indicators are comprehensive and include environmental, diversity, financial management, and clean revenue. In 2017, Kruger Products was named a Corporate Knights Future 40 Responsible Leader, which recognizes Canada's top small and mid-sized companies demonstrating leadership in sustainability.
Both Underhill and Powell will report to Mike Hsu, President and Chief Operating Officer of Kimberly-Clark. The moves are effective immediately.
Underhill has led K-C Professional since 2014. From 2011 to 2014, Underhill served as President of Kimberly-Clark's consumer business in Europe. She joined Kimberly-Clark in 1988 and has held positions with increasing responsibilities within research and engineering, supply chain and marketing. She also held leadership positions in Consumer Tissue and Personal Care in the North American consumer business.
Powell returns to K-C Professional from Kimberly-Clark's consumer business in EMEA. Powell previously served as President for Kimberly-Clark Professional in North America, where he led a multi-billion dollar business focused on creating exceptional workplaces for business customers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Since joining the company in 2007, he has held a series of roles with increasing responsibility including Vice President and Managing Director of Kimberly-Clark's consumer business in Central and Eastern Europe.
