China’s Nanbao Paper Starts 12,000-mtpy TM in Guangdong

Nanbao Paper has kicked off trial production on a new 12,000-mtpy tissue machine at its sole mill in Zhaoqing city, in China’s southern province of Guangdong.

The unit churned out its first sheet of paper at the end of last month. The machine has a trim width of 2.86 m and a design speed of 900 m/min. Founded in 2010, the company also operates several smaller PMs which produce around 5,000 mtpy of tissue paper in total.
