ICT Iberica Turns on New Valmet-supplied 70,000-metric ton/yr Advantage DCT

ICT has successfully started up its new PM 22, completing the B2 project after 18 intense months.

PM 22, a Valmet Advantage DCT with capacity of 70,000 metric tons/year, incorporates cutting edge production technologies capable of manufacturing ultra-quality products featuring significant thickness and smoothness, with high levels of efficiency and remarkable savings in energy consumption. It is the perfect machine to tackle the challenges presented by the tissue market both with regards to quality and costs.

The B2 Project also included extending the converting sector, where it has have already installed several lines. The roll and napkin lines are operating while the facial tissue lines ones are under installation. This investment allows ICT to widen the commercial range and introduce new innovative products featuring ICT style motifs.

The HBW – a new automatic storage system with 25,000 pallet capacity – is already in operation, which will be conducive to improving service quality and increasing stocks, thus complementing the production offer.
