Guangdong Bilun Fires up New TM in Dongguan, China

China’s Guangdong Bilun Paper has kicked off trial production on a new tissue PM at its mill in Dongguan city, in the southern province of Guangdong.

Provided by Chinese firm Shandong Fangyuan Zhonghe Machinery, the 8,000-metric tpy machine has a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 550 m/min.

The company has placed orders with the same supplier for an undisclosed number of tissue PMs for the Dongguan mill, looking to boost its tissue paper capacity by a total of 200,000 metric tpy in the next few years.

Owned by Guangzhou Smile Household Products, Guangdong Bilun has a sister company that produces tissue paper in Maanshan city, Anhui province.

The Maanshan mill operates an 18,000-metric tpy tissue machine that was commissioned in 2009.
