As part of its ongoing partnership efforts, TAPPI has joined with North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) Department of Forest Biomaterials Department in support of its upcoming Tissue Conference.
North Carolina State University (NCSU) 2019 Tissue Conference, “Fiber Development & Sustainability for Value Creation in the Hygiene Tissue Industry” offers opportunities to discuss advances in tissue research led by top universities across the world.
Presentations will focus on advances in fiber modification for value creation, efforts toward fiber reduction, and scientific discussion on the true sustainability of hygiene tissue products. The Tissue Pack Innovation Lab at NCSU will also showcase tissue testing capabilities along with hands-on training led by distinguished academics and industry experts.
Who Should Attend? This event is the perfect place to learn and network. Past events have attracted nearly 200 attendees (85% producers).
This is how you will benefit:
- Process Engineers: Come to learn about new processes to reduce cost. Also, get trained in our three on-site training workshops (at no additional costs).
- Business Controllers: Learn strategies to reduce cost and trends affecting the profitability of your organization.
- Managers: Listen to researchers and practitioners about strategies to reduce costs and isolate market effects.
- Directors and VPs: Understand the dynamics driving market trends and consumption patterns and how to link those to efficient capital investments.
- Marketing/Product Developers: Learn how the market is evolving in different regions by listening to top-notch market research analyses on product performance and pricing on the shelf. Also, learn how to profit from sustainability.
