Sichuan Anxian Paper has started up two new 15,000-metric tpy tissue maqchines at its mill in Mianyang city, in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan.
Dubbed PMs 5 and 6, the lines churned out their first sheets of paper on December 19 and December 26 respectively. Supplied by Chinese firm Baotuo Paper Machinery Engineering, each machine has a trim width of 2.86 m and a design speed of 1,000 m/min.
Two identical units were fired up at the same site in September and October.
The mill also operates two 12,000 tonne/yr Kawanoe Zoki-supplied tissue PMs, which were commissioned in 2017.
All six tissue units, which have a combined capacity of 84,000 metric tpy, are partly integrated with an on-site 50,000-metric tpy bamboo pulp line. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
