Algeria’s Paper Mill Investment to Start up New Tissue Machine this Month

Algeria’s Paper Mill Investment (PMI) has completed the installation of a new tissue machine at its Rouiba mill and is expecting to start production in January 2019. The new machine was initially expected to start up in Q1 this year.
The paper machine will produce high-quality facial wipes as well as towel papers and have a capacity of 35,000 metric tpy. It has a design speed of 2,000 m/min and a paper width of 2.85 m. It also includes a stock preparation for virgin pulp with a capacity of 135 bdmetric tpd.
