palero has sold HAKLE, Germany's leading brand for moist and dry toilet paper. HAKLE was acquired by palero in 2013 from Kimberly Clark. Since then, the business grew by more than 20 percent. The turnover with branded products has doubled and continues to grow. HAKLE employs about 200 people and generates sales of about 80 million euros.
palero said HAKLE is a successful stand-alone business with a great future ahead. The new owners are led by Crosslantic, which has been co-shareholder of HAKLE for the past years and is now taking over the business together with other investors.
palero is an independent private equity fund in Luxembourg, which is exclusively advised by palero capital in Munich and pursues an operational approach. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
