Sweden’s Klippan Bruk is moving ahead with the installation of a new tissue machine. According to the company, which announced in early 2018 that it would invest some SEK 150 million ($16.6 million) in a new tissue line, the first trucks with machine parts have arrived. All in all, it will reportedly take 50 truckloads to get all machine parts to the site. Klippan Bruk added that preparation and building work in the existing building that will house the new machine is proceeding as planned.
The new tissue line is supplied by Recard and will have a production capacity of 30,000 metric tpy of white and colored high-quality tissue. Startup of the new machine, which will create some 20-25 jobs, is scheduled for the summer. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
