Metsä Tissue Starts Co-determination Negotiations in Operations

As a part of the operational review and EUR 25 million fixed cost saving program, Metsä Tissue has started co-determination negotiations also in Operations. The aim is to improve internal efficiency, focus and reduce complexity in the tissue business.
Planned restructuring can lead to organizational changes, such as job changes or redundancies.
Co-determination negotiations in Operations commenced in May 2019 in compliance with labor-laws in each country. Estimated reduction is approximately 110 in total. Based on local negotiations in different countries more accurate plans will be released. Cost savings program will be finalized during the second half of 2019.
Greaseproof Papers and Stotzheim Operations are not included in the above mentioned co-determination negotiations.
