China’s Liaoning Haotang Adds 60,000 metric tpy of Tissue Capacity to Kaiyuan Mill

Liaoning Haotang Paper has recently fired up two new 30,000-metric tpy tissue machines at its mill in Kaiyuan city, in China’s northeast province of Liaoning.

Provided by domestic supplier Shanghai Qingliang Industry, each has a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 1,600 m/min.

They are the second pair of tissue machine to have come on stream at the site. The first pair, provided by the same supplier, were commissioned in 2017.

Each tissue machine has a capacity of 17,000 metric tpy and features a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min.
