Dynamic Speakers from Georgia Pacific, Clearwater Paper Company, NC State University and Fastmarket RISI to Headline TissueCon 2019

TissueCon 2019 takes place October 1-4 in Orlando, FL, and represents the only non-commercial, peer-reviewed event of its kind occurring in North America this year. The program offers a dual focus on technical advancements in tissue making and market intelligence driving the future of the industry.

Keynoter and featured presenters announced

• Keynote Speaker Cheng Lim, vice president – market-based management, Georgia Pacific/Koch, will deliver an engaging talk on how today’s tissue leaders can use and practice market-based management principles to improve the culture and performance of their organizations.
• Profitability, sustainability and the risk of new technologies will be emphasized by Ronalds Gonzalez, co-director of the Tissue Pack Innovation Lab at NC State University.
• Glenn Taylor, vice president, manufacturing for Clearwater Paper Corporation, is an experienced general manager/president and operations leader with success in both domestic and international markets.

In addition, speakers Esko Uutela, principal economist (Tissue), and Lasse Sinikallas, director of macroeconomics, both from Fastmarkets RISI, will offer insights about the global impact of tissue.
