In China, Tangshan Meitehao Fires up its First Tissue Machine

China’s Tangshan Meitehao Hygiene Products has started its first tissue machine at its sole mill in Qian’an city, Hebei province.
The 25,000-metric tpy unit churned out its first sheet of paper at the end of August.
Designed by China’s HMEI Machinery & Engineering, the machine has a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min.
Founded in 2018, Tangshan Meitehao is an affiliate of Mancheng Jinguang Paper, a tissue producer based in Baoding city, Hebei province.
