Sichuan Qianwei Fengsheng Paper Presses Ahead with Tissue Expansion in China

China’s Sichuan Qianwei Fengsheng Paper started up two 12,000-mtpy tissue machines at its mill in Leshan city, Sichuan province.

Each unit has a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,200 m/min.

In late 2017, the company ordered 10 identical tissue machines from domestic firm Baotuo Machinery Engineering.

The first four machines were fired up in early 2019. The pair that went online recently are the fifth and the sixth. The remaining four tissue PMs are expected to be kicked into production by the end of this year.

Apart from the Baotuo-supplied units, the mill also runs another four tissue machines, each having a capacity of 13,000 mtpy. They were commissioned in 2016.

All of the tissue machines at the Lesan mill are integrated with an on-site 150,000-mtpy bamboo pulp line.
