Lee & Man Fires up Multiple Tissue Machines in Jiangxi, China

Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing has completed its plan to start up six new 17,000-mtpy tissue machines at its plant in Jiujiang city, in China’s Jiangxi province.
The first and second were fired up in the second half of September. The other four units came online one after another last month.
Provided by domestic supplier Baotuo Paper Machinery Engineering, each machine has a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min.
The Jiujiang mill already ran two other tissue machine, each having a capacity of 60,000 mtpy.
The startups of the six machines have boosted the company’s total tissue capacity to around 970,000 mtpy, strengthening its position as one of the largest producers in China. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
