K-C's £85m Investment at Barrow, UK, Mill Approved - Securing ‘At-risk’ Jobs

According to The Mail, an £85-million investment into Barrow’s Kimberly-Clark paper mill has been given the green light, securing previously at-risk jobs. Plans to develop the existing building in Park Road have been approved by Barrow Borough Council's planning committee. The paper mill, which employs more than 350 people, first announced a multi-million pound investment in its UK manufacturing operations in March.
