China’s Zhejiang Jiajiafa Starts up New Tissue Machine in Quzhou

Zhejiang Jiajiafa Paper has kicked off trial production on a new 18,000-mtpy tissue machine at its mill in Quzhou city, Zhejiang province, China.

Provided by domestic supplier Shandong Fujia Dazheng Machinery Technology, the unit has a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,200 m/min.

It is the first tissue paper machine to have come online at the site. Three similar machines are expected to be fired up there later this year.

Zhejiang Jiajiafa is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Jinlong Renewable Resources Technology, formerly known as Zhejiang Jinlong Paper.

Zhejiang Jinlong operates approximately 480,000 mtpy of recycled packaging board capacity, mostly recycled containerboard, at a mill close to Zhejiang Jiajiafa.
