Lee & Man to Add 126,000 mtpy of Tissue Capacity to Chongqing Mill in China

Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing has ordered six new tissue machines for its mill in China’s southwestern municipality of Chongqing.

Four of them are designed to produce toilet and facial tissue paper.

Each will have a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min, and a capacity of 17,000 mtpy.

The other two machines will be dedicated to hand towel production.

Each PM will have a capacity of 29,000 mtpy and feature a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 600 m/min.

The six tissue PMs are scheduled to commence production in the final quarter of the year.

By the time the six tissue PMs are fired up, Lee & Man will boast over 750,000 mtpy of tissue paper capacity at the mill in Chongqing.
