China’s Mancheng Yongxing Paper has kicked off trial production on a new 20,000 tonne/yr tissue PM at its sole mill in Baoding city, Hebei province.
Dubbed PM 2, the machine churned out its first sheet of paper in late June.
Provided by domestic supplier Baotuo Paper Machinery, the unit features a trim width of 3.55 m and a design speed of 1,100 m/min. An identical tissue line, PM 1, was fired up at the same site in the third quarter of 2018.
PM 2 was initially scheduled to come online by the end of that year, but its start-up was significantly delayed due to a lack of funds. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
