According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, Georgia-Pacific has revised its site plan for a 1.1 million-square-foot warehouse to remove truck traffic from County F in response to nearby residents' concerns.
The company has asked the town to rezone roughly 90 acres of agricultural land north of Little Rapids Drive that stretches from County F to Mid Valley Drive. It wants to build a large warehouse that will allow it to consolidate five existing warehouses spread across the Green Bay area.
During a presentation during a Planning and Zoning Board meeting, Lawrence Administrator Patrick Wetzel said the company submitted a revised site plan on August 20 that moves the entrance to the massive warehouse to Mid Valley Drive rather than County F, also known as Williams Grant Drive.
