Guizhou Chitianhua Paper Industry has recently fired up four 15,000-mtpy tissue machines at its mill in Chishui city, in China’s southwestern province of Guizhou.
Two were started up in late August, and the other two in early September.
Provided by domestic supplier Baotuo Paper Machinery Engineering, each machine has a trim width of 2.86 m and a design speed of 1,100 m/min.
Two other, identical tissue machines were kicked into production at the site in late July.
The startups of the six units have boosted the mill’s total tissue capacity to 210,000 mtpy.
Guizhou Chitianhua is an indirect subsidiary of the Taison Group, which also runs tissue paper machines at mills in Sichuan, Jiangxi, and Hubei, as well as in Chongqing municipality.
It is also building two 60,000-mtpy tissue machines at a new facility in Anhui province.
If the project stays on track, the Taison Group will boast a total tissue paper capacity of 738,000 mtpy by the end of this year. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
