Hebei Xuesong Fires up 20,000-mtpy Tissue Machine at Baoding Mill in China

China’s Hebei Xuesong Paper has started up a new 20,000-mtpy tissue machine at its mill in Baoding city, Hebei province.

Provided by domestic supplier Xi’An Weiya Paper Machinery, the unit features a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,500 m/min.

Last year, the company commissioned a 25,000-mtpy tissue machine at the Baoding from the same supplier. It has a trim width of 3.6 m and a design speed of 1,200 m/min.

The mill also operates two PMP-supplied tissue machines, each having a capacity of 21,000 mtpy. They were fired up in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
