China’s Liaoning Yusen Hygiene Products recently started up two 30,000-mtpy tissue machines at a new mill in Anshan city, in the northeastern province of Liaoning.
One was fired up October 18 and the other on October 28.
Provided by the PMP Group (acquired by Valmet in October), each machine has a trim width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 1,600 m/min.
Their output is 100 percent market wood pulp-furnished tissue paper in a basis weight range of 10-25 g/m2.
Liaoning Yusen is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baoding Yusen Hygiene Products.
The latter operates 11 tissue machines with a total capacity of approximately 180,000 mtpy at a mill in Baoding city, Hebei province.
