Oradoc, a leading company in the supply of doctoring systems and measuring instruments dedicated to monitoring the creping process, mainly intended for the tissue paper industry, has recently completed the acquisition of MTK.
The acquired company, located in Lucca, is specialized in the design, construction and supply of drainage systems and vacuum systems and its products and services are conceived for paper mills and machine and plant manufacturers on the national and international paper markets.
The acquisition operation is inscribed within the development plans of ORADOC and it goes along with the strategic programs of the other WIVA Network affiliated companies.
In recent years, Oradoc has consolidated its presence in doctoring systems in the paper market in many countries around the world and with this acquisition confirms the desire to extend and integrate its knowledge to applications aimed at the wet part of paper machines, considered strategic to expand the offer of its products and services.
Among the elements that contribute to adding value to the operation, the territorial continuity plays an important role: thanks to the development of projects that will strengthen the relations with some strategic suppliers in the Lucca area - where the know-how related to machines for the paper sector is notoriously highly developed – the synergy between the two companies will be undoubtedly fruitful.
As far as MTK is concerned, the fiscal references, the administrative headquarters and the production site, as well as the contact details of reference persons remain unchanged, while activities will be managed and developed in coordination with Oradoc.
The collaborations with companies, universities, research centres and other players present in the area, once again confirm how the Paper District of Lucca favors the meeting between supply chain companies, which, as in the case in question, may also evolve into new industrial initiatives addressed to the national and international paper market.
