Essity Installs New Yankee drier on PM 1 at its Gien Mill in France

Essity has invested Euro 4 million ($4.8 million) in new Yankee dryer for PM 1 at its Gien mill in France. The new drier will allow paper to dry faster, thus improving the PM’s productivity while reducing energy consumption by 10 percent.

Essity’s Gien mill produces tissue paper on three paper machines with a combined production capacity of 155,000 mtpy.
