Toscotec and Saudi Paper Group Strengthen Partnership With New Tissue Line Agreement

Saudi Paper Group (SPG) and Toscotec have signed an Agreement of Understanding for the supply of a new tissue line to be installed at SPG’s paper mill in Dammam second industrial city, Saudi Arabia. Designed for excellent performance and superior efficiency, the tissue machine will produce 60,000 mpty of premium quality tissue, bringing SPG’s total capacity to 190,000 mtpy.

The new tissue production line will be supplied by Toscotec on a full turnkey basis, including a state-of-the-art integrated cogeneration plant for maximum energy efficiency. Toscotec is currently supplying an advanced AHEAD 2.2S tissue machine and an OPTIMA slitter rewinder scheduled to be installed in the coming months at SPG’s Dammam tissue mill to achieve a production increase of 30,000 mtpy.
