Each course was designed to provide content relevant to the modern-day tissue mill to assist in increasing operational efficiency, save costs and bolster employee retention.

A panel of eight industry experts was led by course chairs Bruce Janda and Scott Hansen to group that exceeded goal by nearly 15%. Topics tackled all facets of converting operations, helping students improve converting plant productivity and reducing bottlenecks.

Designed to meet the career development of engineers, machine supervisors, operators and suppliers or other technical people who are new to tissue grades, Tissue 201: Operations and Runnability Course was a big draw for attendees. Course attendance was greater than 25% over goal and the course was led by chairs Jeff Peters and Matt Bryer.
