Registration Now Open for Fall Meeting of TAPPI’s Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee

TAPPI has announced the opening of registration for its Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) Fall Meeting.

Scheduled for Tuesday, November 14 – Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the meeting will be held at the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel in Neenah, WI. Among the agenda items planned are highlights/edits on TIPs specific to Acoustic Emissions, Yankee Surface Requirements and Doctor Systems, as well as presentations focused on a variety of topics, including:

Creping Doctor Oscillators
Linking Dust to Fiber Types
Heat Transfer & Condensing/Straw Setting
Stress Impacts on Yankee by MAOC Elements
Steam Flex Hose
CI vs. Steel

A Dust Mitigation Committee Update, along with Working Group reports, are also planned. Sub-Committee meetings will take place from 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Tuesday.
