Velvet CARE Awarded Gold Medal by Ecovadis

We are proud to announce that Velvet CARE has been awarded a gold medal by Ecovadis*. Thus, we have found ourselves among the 5 percent of companies with this rating in the world. This is our debut, so we are all the more satisfied with the result.

The Ecovadis diagnostic scoring tool analyses all activities of the company, so it allowed checking how our activities were perceived by an independent external team of experts.

So far, more than 100,000 enterprises from over 175 countries in the world and over 200 industries have been assessed by EcoVadis. Our place on the podium earned among such a wide group proves that at Velvet CARE sustainable development is not just an empty slogan, but translates into real and measurable actions. Undergoing this assessment was one of the important elements of our ESG strategy.

The assessment process included activities in the field of: environment, ethics, work conditions and safety, and sustainable supply chain.

*Ecovadis is an independent rating agency that assesses the quality of the company’s sustainability management system. The assessment is carried out by considering international standards such as UN Global Compact, GRI Standard, ISO 26000.
