Metsä Group’s tissue paper business has received the Top Employer award in Germany for the fourth time in a row. The Top Employer Institute's award proves that the company has repeatedly made a significant step forward within the six key areas of Human Resources management and has thus once again improved its results. For Metsä, the performance in HR management was particularly convincing and above the benchmark in the areas of Leadership, People Strategy, Business Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion. By once again receiving this award, the Top Employer Institute confirms Metsä’s dedication to a better world of work which has been exhibited through excellent HR policies and people practices.

During the certification process, Metsä Group’s tissue paper business faced an international comparison worldwide. Companies are eligible for certification if they employ more than 250 people nationally or are part of an international group with more than 2500 employees. Furthermore the company has to have formalized and future-oriented HR processes. This year, over 2300 Top Employers in 121 countries/regions on 5 continents were recognized.
